ECO GEODRUM provides:

Biodiversity monitoring services, environmental documentation in accordance with specific national and European environmental protection requirements. For this, we work with top laboratories in Romania in order to perform specific analyses.

  • Adequate evaluation studies;
  • Environmental reports;
  • Obtaining authorizations, permits, environmental or construction agreements;
  • Biodiversity monitoring reports on all components;
  • Water management studies;
  • Studies on the degree of contamination and the efficiency of the decontamination process;
  • Management of decontamination activity;
  • Technical drawing and specialized assistance.

Services performed in partner laboratories

  • Testing of physical and chemical indicators for groundwater, surface water, and wastewater;
  • Determining the degree of aggression of the environment (natural soil and groundwater) on concrete and reinforced concrete;
  • Determination of carbon content;
  • Determination of emissions in the atmosphere;
  • Determination of the content of organic volatile components (VOCs);
  • Determination of greenhouse gas concentration;
  • Noise level measurement;
  • Physical and chemical testing of soil samples.

Water analysis

  • Groundwater analysis;
  • Surface water analysis;
  • Wastewater analysis (wastewater, in accordance with NTPA 001 and NTPA 002).

Soil analysis

  • determination of the concentration of heavy metals in the soil;
  • determination of the concentration of petroleum products in the soil;
  • determination of other chemical components of industrial origin.

Air quality analysis

  • determination of the concentration of noxious substances in the atmosphere;
  • determination of suspended particles and sedimentary dust.

Noise measurement

  • indoor noise level measurement;
  • outdoor noise level measurement.

Other analysis

  • determining the aggressiveness of water on concrete, reinforced concrete, and metals.

Biodiversity monitoring services

ECO GEODRUM has extensive experience in the development and management of complex projects, studies, and reports for biodiversity monitoring, both during their execution and after their completion (during the project operation period). The main objective of these activities is the protection of habitats of Community and national interest according to European directives and national legislation in force.

  • Evaluation of the impact generated in the different phases of execution of a project;
  • Identification of potentially polluting activities;
  • Proposition of measures to reduce/eliminate potential impact (or existing impact);
  • Verification of the effectiveness of the impact mitigation measures adopted;
  • Biodiversity specialists identify and analyze habitats and species of flora and fauna possibly affected by various projects/activities. They propose measures to conserve but also to reduce the effects of the works on the environment.

The inventory of flora and fauna is obtained by applying internationally recognized and practiced methodologies, which contain monitoring protocols for all working groups, namely: habitats, flora, ichthyofauna, avifauna, bats, terrestrial and aquatic invertebrates, herpetofauna, mammals.
